Dennis L. Kisiel, Ph.D, is a licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser with over 39 years of experience in the field. Dr. Kisiel graduated from the University of Memphis with a Doctorate of Sciences in 1979. From 1977 to 1979 Dr. Kisiel provided clinical services at Louisana State University School of Medicine and completed his dissertation on tinnitus (basic research model) at the prestigious Kresgee Research Institute of the South. From 1980 to 1982, he was the Director of Audiology at the Cleveland Speech and Hearing Center at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. From 1982 to 1990, he was the Director of the Audiology Division of the Otolaryngology Department at The Long Island College Hospital (LICH) in Brooklyn NY. Dr. Kisiel founded the first hearing aid dispensary at LICH. Dr. Kisiel has been the owner of Audiology Affiliates, a premier private practice in Audiology, based in Brooklyn Heights NY since 1990. His practice provides all major audiology services available in all major academic medical centers.
In 2008 Dr. Kisiel founded a Tinnitus Diagnosis/Treatment Center, one of the very few such programs in New York City. Dr. Kisiel, a Fellow-level member of the Americal Tinnitus Association, is the only certified provider of Neuromonics Tinnitus Treatment Program in Brooklyn. Throughout his career, Dr. Kisiel has been a researcher with publications, a university professor, and a consultant to the hearing aid industry and the City of New York Public Health Programs.
